NYC Area Physicians and Office Managers

Everything You Need to Know about Electronic Health Records (EHR.
Is it time to invest in EHR system? What system is good? What system should I buy? Shouldn’t I see several systems at once to compare?Hear from other physicians how to get started with an EHR system for your practice.

The program will give NCC area physicians and practice managers a chance to hear from other physicians about their transition experience. There is no charge for the program.

Sam's Club to sell eCW Electronic Health Records (EHR)

According to the NY Times, soon you'll be able to go to a local Sam's Club and purchase a package that includes eClinicalWorks and Dell computers for about $25,000.00 for the first doctor.
Annual support would be between $4000.00 and $6000.00.

I guess the Stimulus Package and a positive experience with the software in the Redi-Clinics has gotten Walmart to look at EHR distribution as a new product/service with a lot of potential.

I look forward to see if Walmart will now start promoting the DOSSIA PHR as well.

How many of you expect this announcement before year's end:

Rediclinic + Walmart medical customers + DOSSIA + eEHX = Community Health Information Exchange (HIE)?

What do you think? SV
